SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Scattered rain will be expected to fall in different parts of Yemeni provinces, the National Center of Meteorology said on Wednesday.
In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the rains may fall on parts of the provinces of Taiz, Dhalea, Ibb, Rayma, Hajjah, Mahweet and Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, and Mahra.
It pointed out that the weather would be hot to very hot during the day in the deserts and inland plateaus, with maximum temperatures reaching between 37-43 degrees Celsius.
According to the center, active to strong wind gusts may blow around the Socotra Archipelago, the southern coasts, and the Gulf of Aden, ranging its speeds between 16-32 knots, and moderate to active winds on the eastern coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the southern parts of the western coast, with speeds ranging between 10-20 knots.
The center warned citizens against being in the depths of valleys and flood paths, against because rainfall.
