Yemeni riyal exchange rate continues to decline in Aden, recovers in Sanaa

SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate hit a new low against foreign currencies on Wednesday in Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

The US dollar exchange rate in Aden and Hadramout provinces reached 1,445 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal exchange rate reached 381 riyals.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange has stabilized in areas controlled by the Sanaa government at 527 riyals to the US dollar and 139.80 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
