GAZA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – A young Palestinian man was killed, 11 others were injured by bullets, and dozens suffered from poison gas suffocation on Tuesday evening, during the Zionist enemy forces’ suppression of demonstrators on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported that a young Palestinian man from the town of Bani Suhaila, east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, “25 years old,” was killed by a bullet in the head fired at him by Zionist enemy soldiers east of the city, while 11 citizens were injured with various injuries, including one seriously, during confrontations with the occupation forces.
The agency quoted Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, as confirming the arrival of two wounded people who were shot by enemy forces near the “Malaka” military site, east of the city, in addition to others suffering from suffocation as a result of the occupation forces throwing tear gas bombs at the demonstrators.
A citizen was also injured by a bullet east of the Abu Safiya area, east of the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip. He was subsequently transferred to the Indonesian Hospital in the neighboring town of Beit Lahia, in addition to the injury of others east of Khan Yunis and Rafah.
Hundreds of citizens demonstrated near the border areas east of Gaza City, the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip, and east of the Bureij camp in the center of the Gaza Strip and Jabalia to the north, in protest against the oppressive Zionist practices against prisoners in enemy prisons and the attacks against Jerusalemites in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
