Two narcotics traffickers sentenced to 25 years in jail

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Division of the capital, Sanaa, on Wednesday upheld a 25-year prison sentence against two people convicted of the crime of drug trafficking.

The ruling issued in the session held under the chairmanship of the head of the division, Judge Abdullah Ali Al-Najjar, upheld the initial ruling convicting Muhammad Ahmed Ali Awadah and Fouad Faisal Ali Jaber of the crimes of trafficking in and using narcotic substances, and punishing them with imprisonment for a period of 25 years.

The ruling also ruled that the seized drugs be destroyed.
