ADEN – A large numbers of gunmen recruited by occupying United Arab Emirates looted residents’ houses and properties in Yemen’s southern occupied port city of Aden, a security official and witnesses told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.
“An armed gang run by the UAE forces carried out four organized Robberies, looting a number of shops and properties belonging to the citizens in the district of Sheikh Osman,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
These violent acts and security chaos have been common in the south since the occupying UAE invaded Aden and several other southern cities as armed clashes, robberies and thriving terrorist groups are taking advantage from the security vacuum.
