HDRAMOUT, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The UAE, on Saturday, continued its military mobilization near the stronghold of Saudi-backed factions in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, informed sources said
According to the sources, units of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) and the Hadrami Heba forces have redeployed in the Sah district, near the city of Seiyun, where the command of the first military region, affiliated with Islah and backed by Saudi Arabia, is based.
It is not yet clear what causes and motives for the UAE’s new military moves in the oil-rich province; whether they are related to the tensions between the two poles of the Saudi-led coalition after the recent Gulf Cooperation Council statement reducing the UAE’s role in the region.
