Owner of Fuel station dies inside oil tank in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept 06 (YPA) – An owner of a fuel station selling oil derivatives died on Tuesday in mysterious circumstances inside an oil tank in the coastal district of Dhubab, west of Taiz province.

According to local residents, “Taqi al-Din Khaled Shathli,” the owner of the fuel station located in the new area in the Dhubab district near Bab al-Mandab strait, went down to the oil tank to rescue one of the station’s workers named “Ibn Usaylo” after he fainted severely while cleaning the tank, so the owner of the station also fell into the tank as a result of inhaling the smell of oil he died.

The residents explained that the worker is still in a coma, and that his health condition is serious, and he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The residents called on the security services to open an investigation to find out the circumstances of the incident.
