OCCUPIED PALESTNE, Sept. 05 (YPA) – A Palestinian youth was killed on Tuesday morning during an Israeli army assault on Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, which left heavy destruction in the infrastructure in the camp and city, Palestinian media sources reported.
The sources said the Palestinian was shot in the head and declared dead at Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarm.
Another youth was shot by a live bullet in the upper left side of his body which caused him to fall and hit his head hard on the ground resulting in hemorrhaging in the brain, according to medics at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin, where he was transferred. The youth was later declared in stable condition.
The sources stated that violent armed clashes broke out between resistance fighters and the occupation forces, following their incursion into the camp.
According to the same sources, the resistance fighters detonated a high-explosive device in a military bulldozer of the occupation army while it was carrying out acts of vandalism in the camp
Following the violent clashes, the occupying forces pushed military reinforcements towards the camp.
