Shura condemns suspicious US movements in Yemen’s eastern provinces
SANAA, Sept. 02 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Saturday strongly condemned the suspicious American military movements in the eastern and southern provinces, and the entry of American soldiers into a number of schools in Hadramout province.
The Council explained, in a statement issued today, that America’s aggressive moves, coinciding with the arrival of a number of US-British naval vessels to the Red Sea, confirm the colonial US and British efforts aimed at blocking the prospects for peace in Yemen, and perpetuating the war and siege to serve their agendas and facilitate the plunder of Yemeni wealth.
The statement considered the presence and public appearance of American soldiers in a number of educational facilities Hadramout a blatant violation of Yemeni sovereignty, which is completely rejected.
The Shura Council warned America and Britain, and their tools in the region from the Saudi-led coalition countries and mercenaries of the consequences of continuing to ignore the calls and keenness of Sanaa to bring a just and honorable peace to Yemen and the region in general.
The Council pointed out the importance of taking seriously into consideration the warnings of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, and not ignoring the right and legitimate demands of the Yemeni people.
“The American-British colonial plans and their suspicious movements have become exposed to the Yemeni people, which makes their provocative presence a legitimate target for the Yemeni armed forces and the Yemeni people,” the statement stressed.
The statement denounced the suspicious silence of the United Nations and the Security Council, their statements’ complicity with the hostile American and British positions, and the legitimization of aggression.
The Shura Council called on the free people of the eastern and southern provinces not to remain silent regarding foreign movements and presence, and to confront them with all available means.
