16 Syrian soldiers killed in clashes with Latakia countryside militants

WORLD, Sept. 02 (YPA) – At least 16 members of the Syrian army were killed and 5 others were wounded, during a clash with armed terrorist groups in the countryside of Latakia, Syrian newspaper “Al-Watan” reported

According to the paper, the clashes took place in one of the sites of Wadi Rabia in the northern countryside of the province.

In the northern countryside of Latakia, terrorist groups are spread, most of which are affiliated with the terrorist organization “Jabhat al-Nusra”, where they repeatedly attack civilian areas, causing casualties among the people in addition to material damage to public and private property.
