Pro-UAE factions launch campaign of arrests in Ataq city

SHABWA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions launched on Thursday a massive campaign of arrests in the city of Ataq, the provincial capital of Shabwa.

Local sources in Shabwa said that groups from the STC militants stormed a number of citizens ’homes in the villages of Al -Sulaiman in Ataq, and arrested several citizens.

The detainees were taken to secret prisons for STC’s factions, the source added.
