Hadramout governor warns of British, American moves in province

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Sanaa-appointed governor of Hadramout, Luqman Barras, warned on Thursday of the movements made by the British and American forces in the province.

In a news statement, the governor pointed out that the arrival of the American ambassador with dozens of Marines forces to the Hadramout, days after the arrival of similar British reinforcements to Gail Bawazir district of the province, reflects an American-British American desire to continue the war and the siege and reveal their hidden motives for peace.

He stressed that hostile movements in land and sea of southern provinces are monitored by the Sanaa forces and the free people of Hadramout, pointing out that the public appearance of the American forces in the city of al-Ghurfa in Hadramout Valley revealed the danger of foreign incursion in the province.

Barras praised the national position responsible for Hadramout’s residents who rejected the American manifestations that are provocative in their streets and cities, calling on all the free people to reject all colonial military moves and external conspiracy in the province.

The governor noted that the American -British colonial plan is greater than the internal differences of Hadramout that coalition made for the dismantling of Hadrami society and looting the province’s wealth.

He held the coalition-backed government the responsibility for neglecting national sovereignty, stressing that the use of these leaders with the movements of the American ambassador and the foreign forces in the province without an objection to put them in popularity and legal accountability.

Barras reiterated his call to the United States of America to respect the Yemeni people’s will and stop its colonial interventions in the province, calling on also foreign multinational forces to leave the province safely.
