Gold prices stabilize in Sanaa, Aden markets

SANAA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Gold prices on Tuesday stabilized in Sanaa and in the provinces under the control of coalition forces.

Sources working in the Goldsmiths’ markets said that the price of the gold pound reached 630 thousand riyals in the city of Aden, while in the capital Sana’a stabilized at 230 thousand riyals.

The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 28,000 YER, Sale = 30,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 225,000 YER, Sale = 230,000 YER.

The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 77,000 YER, Sale = 83,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 613,000 YER, Sale = 630,000 YER.
