Citizen kidnapped in Aden airport

ADEN, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Armed factions affiliated with UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) kidnapped at Aden International Airport a citizen from the northern provinces for the purpose of extortion.

The political activist, Adel Al-Hasani, revealed in a tweet on “Twitter” platform, that the citizen “Ali Al-Qadri” from Sanhan district of Sana’a governorate, who works as a driver, has been detained since last Ramadan.

Al-Hasani explained in his tweet that the leader of the “transitional” factions, Khaled Al-Khaili, who holds the position of deputy director of security at Aden airport, was the one who directed the kidnapping of citizen al-Qadri.

Al-Hasani also added that the deputy director of Aden airport security is demanding a financial ransom or the kidnapped car type “Hilux” model 2020, in exchange for the release of al-Qadri.
