400 houses in Old Sanaa need restoration

SANAA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – The Chairman of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Wadih Jahhaf, stated on Tuesday that 400 houses in Old Sanaa city require restoration as a first step.

During a meeting today to address topics of improving services and maintaining Sanaa’s ancient city, Jahhaf said that joint committees of the Authority, the local council, and civilians had been formed to submit reports on damaged properties and put in place the required solutions.
