UAE-backed militants break into Maashiq Palace in Aden

ADEN, Aug 13 (YPA) – The UAE-backed armed groups stromed on Sunday evening Al-Maashiq presidential Palace in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that al-Amaliqa forces, or Giants, led by Abd al-Rahman al-Mahrami, , stormed the Palace and prevented the exit of any employee from the office of the head of the pro-coalition government, using variuos armed to surround the palace.

The storming of Maashiq Palace came as a result of a dispute between Al-Mahrami, who holds the position of deputy of the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council, and the head of Aden government, Maeen Abdul-Malik, over files and decisions related to the banking sector.
