Child drowns to death inside Mahweet water pool

MAHWEET, Aug 14 (YPA) – A child drowned on Sunday to death inside one of water pools in Ar Rujum district of Mahweet province.

Sultan Mohammed Al-Marjalah died while trying to swim, according to Major Adel Issa, a director of the Civil Defense Authority’s branch in the province, adding that the body was recovered by the residents of the area.

The incident came in light of the continuing warnings of the Authority not to swim in dams and water barriers, as it is not suitable for swimming.
