Two drones shot down near Moscow

WORLD, Aug 09 (YPA) – The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that two Ukrainian  drones were shot down while heading toward the Russian capital, Moscow.

“An attempt to carry out a terrorist attack by the Kiev regime using drones on the territory of the Moscow region was foiled. The air defense systems shot down two drones,” the ministry said in a statement .

According to the statement, the attempted terrorist attack did not result in any casualties or destruction.
