Tribesmen stopped tanker trucks in protest against fuel price hike in Marib

MARIB, Aug 09 (YPA) – Tribesmen stopped the traffic of tanker trucks transporting oil derivatives in tribal sectors in the northeastern province of Marib, tribal sources reported on Tuesday.

This comes in protest against fuel price hikes in the gas and oil- rich Marib province.

Tribal sources confirmed that the tribesmen set up a tribal checkpoint in Wadi Obaida and prevented the passage of tanker trucks belonging to the oil and gas company affiliated with the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
