Sanaa: 2,227 civilians killed and wounded by Saudi army gunfire since the beginning of the truce

SANAA, Aug 02 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned, Tuesday, the repeated criminal attacks by  the Saudi-led coalition forces, which claimed lives of 2,227 victims since the beginning of truce.

It stated that 293 people were killed and 1,934 injured, as a result of the direct targeting of the Saudi army  in the directorates of the border governorate of Saada.

The Ministry of Health added that the crimes of the Saudi army against civilians are considered war crimes according to the description of international law.

It held the coalition responsible for the consequences of these crimes and violations, stressing the right of the Yemeni people to defend themselves and confront the coalition war and siege.
