Scattered showers in parts of various areas of Yemen expected

SANAA, July. 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected rainfall in parts of various areas of Yemeni provinces.

In its weather forecasts, the center affirmed that the rainfall on the provinces of Saada, Amran, Mahweet, Hajjah, Sanaa, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Bayda, Shabwa, Mahra and Hadramout.

The center said hot to very hot weather to target the desert and internal plateaus, with maximum temperatures ranging between 38-43 degrees Celsius.

It noted that strong winds may blow around the Socotra archipelago, with speeds ranging between 30-50 knots, while reaching its speeds to 20-35 knots on the southern and eastern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

The center warned citizens of hot and sweltering weather in desert areas, internal plateaus, and coastal plains and regions, and advised not to be exposed to direct sunlight.
