Truck driver died after being detained by gunmen in Lahj

LAHJ, July. 26 (YPA) – A transport truck driver died after being detained by gunmen in the area of Ras Al-Ara of Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that the driver, “Ahmed Hassan Al-Subaihi,” from the Al-Sabiha tribe in Lahj, died of hunger and thirst amid the high temperature in the area where the gunmen set up the strip for commercial trucks.

This crime added to the crimes of blocking the coastal roads linking the provinces of Hodeida and Aden by the UAE-backed gunmen.

Dozens of transport drivers detained in the area appealed to the pro-coalition government and the coalition forces to intervene urgently to save their lives from death and to remove the sectors of the armed elements affiliated with the UAE.
