TAIZ, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Sources familiar with the matter said on Sunday that Sanaa-based armed forces had taken control of large parts of Al-Turbah, the administrative center of Al-Shamayateen district in southern Taiz province, with broad popular support from residents of Al-Hujariyah city.
The sources confirmed that Sanaa forces had established control over parts of Al-Turbah and its outskirts.
Meanwhile, a military source in the Sanaa forces affirmed that nearly 20 military vehicles and armored vehicles belonging to Saudi-backed factions, along with five trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition, had withdrawn toward the Sharjab road and from there to Tur Al-Bahah area of Lahj.
The source added that the factions led by Abu Bakr Al-Jabouli, affiliated with the Islah Party, had fled via the Al-Sihi–Hazaz and Al-Zariqa routes, amid an unprecedented collapse among the factions stationed in Al-Shamayateen.
