HADRAMOUT, July. 25 (YPA) – Factions loyal to the Islah Party and Saudi Arabia have become more powerful and influence in the UAE-controlled areas of the Hadramout coast.
Local sources in the city of Mukalla, the provincial capital of Shabwa, affirmed that the control of the military components affiliated with Saudi Arabia and the Islah Party showed to be increased in the streets of cities of the province, and the situation has reached the point of harassing the factions of the UAE-backed Hadrami elite forces.
Many people of Hadramout believe that the reasons for the confrontations between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi may herald a fierce battle, in light of the conflict between the two parties over control of the province.
Last week, the American Wall Street Journal revealed the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the UAE has begun to exacerbate in Hadramout, as Riyadh seeks to extend an oil export pipeline through Hadramout to the Arabian Sea coast.
