Al-Houthi considers America’s moves in Red Sea, Gulf of Aden “direct escalation”
SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has considered the recent US military moves in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden a direct escalation.
He said in a tweet on Twitter on Sunday, that those moves confirm “the existence of hidden aggressive intentions against Yemen.”
Al-Houthi added that this coincided with the Pentagon’s dispatch of two warships carrying thousands of marines to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, as well as the arrival of the US ambassador to Aden.
