Three killed in car explosion in city of Manbij, western Syria

WORLD, July 10 (YPA) – Three people were killed, including a commander of the Manbij Military Council forces affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), when a car bomb exploded in the city of Manbij, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, northwestern Syria, activists and local media reported

Manbij Military Council said in a statement that “a car explosion occurred near the roundabout of Al-Sabbah Bahrat at the School of Applications in the city of Manbij, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.”

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 3 elements of Manbij Military Council, including a leader, were killed as a result of a car explosion near the roundabout of Al-Sabbah Bahrat at the School of Applications in the city of Manbij, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

“The nature of the explosion is still unknown; Whether it was caused by an explosive device or an  attack by a Turkish drone. Another element was injured by the explosion,” the Observatory added.
