STC’s President declares war “First Military Region” forces in Seiyun

HADRAMOUT, July 09 (YPA) – The President of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, on Sunday threatened with confronting the forces of the “First Military Region” affiliated with the Islah party in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Al-Zubaidi, who is in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, accused the forces of the first region of practicing terrorism against the demonstrations that took place the first week on the occasion of what he called “Land Day,” stressing that his forces would do their duty to protect Hadramout from terrorism.

He pointed out that the response to the excesses of Islah militants in Seiyun “will come at an appropriate time.”
