Pro-coalition leader accuses Tariq Saleh of looting agricultural lands in Mocha

TAIZ, July. 09 (YPA) – Advisor to the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council, Abdel-Malik Al-Mikhlafi, warned against the actions that run by Tariq Saleh’s forces to loot large lands in the western coast, Mocha district and Bab Al-Mandab of Taiz province.

Al-Mikhlafi said on “Twitter” that these lands should give to establish for real and serious projects within an ambitious future study during a specified period for implementation within the framework of transparent, clear and announced contracts and agreements.

He affirmed that these land should not be converted for looting by kilometers by Tariq Saleh, an nephew of the former president Ali Abdul Allah Saleh.

Al-Mikhlafi called on the responsible authorities to reconsider any wrong actions, from what has been published and talked about, and clarification of the public opinion with facts.

The people of Mocha district had accused Tariq Saleh of seizing their agricultural land under the pretext of transferring it to public interests, including an agricultural area of 4 square kilometers from the property of the people of the district.

More than 20 citizens were forced by force of arms to raise their disposal of their land, without being given any compensation.
