SANAA, July. 08 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected the continuation of hot weather in various areas of Yemeni provinces.
The center affirmed, in a weather forecast on Saturday, that maximum temperatures ranging between 40-45 and 35-40degrees Celsius, will hit desert and coastal areas, as well as Socotra archipelago.
The winds may be strong around the Socotra archipelago and parts of the eastern coasts, with speeds ranging between 25-45 knots, in addition to the southern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with speeds ranging between 17-27 knots.
Rainfall will be expected in parts of the provinces of Saada, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Ibb, Dhalea, Lahj and Abyan, as well as light rains on Taiz, Dhamar and Raymah, Hadramout and Mahra.
The center called on citizens to take away from the water ways and valleys in the areas where rains expected.
