Infighting between terrorist factions leaves civilian casualties in Syria

WORLD, July 06 (YPA) – Two children were killed and others were injured, most of them civilians, as a result of infighting between the terrorist factions backed by the Turkish army in the occupied city of Ras al-Ain, northeastern Syria.

According to media reports, clashes with heavy weapons broke out between the so-called “civil police” and the Sultan Murad terrorist faction on the outskirts of the city over disputes over human smuggling routes.

The clashes resulted in the death of two children and the injury of 5 civilians, in addition to the death of a member of the so-called “Civil Police” and the injury of two members of the Sultan Murad terrorist faction.

The areas under Turkish occupation have been  witnessing continuous violations against civilians, and infighting and clashes between terrorist factions affiliated with the Turkish occupation due to disputes over the sharing of loot and human smuggling routes, which often result in civilian casualties.
