Mohammed al-Houthi calls on parliament to pass law banning insulting of Islamic sanctities

SANAA, July 06 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammad Al-Houthi, called on the Parliament to put a law that criminalizes insulting Islamic sanctities.

In a  tweet on Tuesday, Al-Houthi called on the Muslims in Sweden to take a stand and take judicial action in prosecuting the transgressors of the Holy Quran.

He saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, stressing that “our people will not delay their support of the Islamic Nation.”

He called on the Palestinian people to confront the Israeli enemy, according to what the Qur’an spoke about the Jews. He also called on the Arab and Islamic Nation to unite with Palestine and abandon their silence.

He pointed out that the Swedish government, which condemned the burning of the Qur’an, should arrest those commit the crime of burning the Holy Qur’an and impose the harshest penalties on them.
