Yemeni riyal hits new low against foreign currencies in Aden, Hadramout

SANAA, July 05 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate continued on Wednesday to decline at an accelerated pace, hitting a record low in financial transactions in the provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition forces.

The exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden province reached 1,389 Yemeni riyals, while the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal reached 362 riyals.

In the capital, Sanaa, the riyal exchange rate remained stable at 530 riyals against the US dollar due to a set of measures taken by the Sanaa government to maintain the stability of the currency last year.
