MARIB, July. 02 (YPA) – A young man was killed on Sunday and others were injured in the renewed confrontations breaking out in the city of Marib, northeastern Yemen.
Local sources said that the clashes erupted between the tribes of Al Fajeh and the coalition’s recruits in the city.
The sources confirmed that the tribes of “Al Fajeh” were able to reach the area of the historical throne of Belqis before tribal mediation led by “Sheikh Nasser Ali Aushan” intervened to stop the clashes between the two parties.
On June 23, the city of Marib witnessed battles between members of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Islah Party and members of Al Fajeh tribe in Wadi Abaidah, which resulted in the killing and wounding of more than 30 people, including Mubarak Talib Ibn Aqar, one of the tribal sheikhs in Marib.
