Sanaa’s Defense Minister warns coalition countries that armistice will not last for long

SANAA, June 30 (YPA) – The Minister of Defense of Sanaa government, Major General Muhammad Al-Atifi, warned the Saudi-led coalition countries on Friday that “the truce will not remain permanent according to their desires.”

The Defense Minister confirmed that “Sanaa forces will make a deliberate move that will restore balance to the region.”

During his field visit to the fronts of Karish, Al-Qabitta, Dimnat Khadir, and Mawiyah in Taiz province, Major General Al-Atifi affirmed that the solution is not in the hands of the coalition, but rather that they are unwilling to have the solution in their hands.

“If they want it as a peace, then they will rest, and if they want it as a war, then Sanaa will turn it into an open war,” he added.

Major General Al-Atifi explained that the coalition and those behind them fabricate political barriers and want to tear Yemeni unity apart and strip Yemen from its faith identity within the framework of their efforts to keep the country mired in whirlpools of fabricated internal conflicts, in implementation of the agenda of the Zionist entity and Western countries.
