STC directs important call to its supporters in Mukalla

HADRAMOUT, June 25 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) directed an important call to its supporters in the city of Mukalla, the center of Hadramout province.

This came after the arrival of the president of the “Presidential Leadership Council,” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, ” Rashad al-Alimi, to the city during the past hours.

The STC in Hadramout vowed harsh punishment to those who lowered the flags and pictures of its president, Aidaroos al-Zubaidi, yesterday evening, Friday, in Mukalla, describing these acts as “sabotage and cowardly attacks.”

It also warned the Islah Party (the brotherhood group) and leaders loyal to the General People’s Congress Party against continuing to provoke the feelings of the people of Hadramout.

Earlier today, the STC’s supporters tore Al-Alimi’s pictures from the welcoming banners in the streets of Mukalla during the past hours in response to the tearing of Al-Zubaidi’s photos and the removal of the STC flags in the city.
