World Bank to provide $1.75 billion in aid for Ukraine

WORLD, June 22 (YPA) – The World Bank Group announced today $1.75 billion in additional support for Ukraine.

According to a statement, the financing consists of a $500 million loan from the World Bank guaranteed by the United Kingdom, a $1.25 billion grant from the United States, and a $15 million grant from the government of Finland.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the international partners would provide Ukraine with $115 billion in long-term reconstruction support.
