Tariq Afash overthrows military leaders in Lahj

LHAJ, June 17 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Tariq Afash, a Yemeni military commander and the nephew of the former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, has overthrew the most prominent military leaders from the sons of Al-Sabiha in Lahj province, south of Yemen.

Noah Al-Jasseri, a media activist, said Afash appointed another commander of the “Support Brigade” with the rank of recruit, in a procedure described as “regional” against the people of the western districts in the provinces of Taiz and Lahj.

He accused Tariq Afash of “transferring” the Sixth Brigade Giants, whose recruits and commanders belonging to Waziyah and Al-Sabiha, to Shabwa province, “to clear the air for him.

Al-Jasseri confirmed that Tariq overthrew the commander of the “Rapid Intervention Brigade” Abu Dhiab Al-Alqami from the sons of Al-Sabiha, and appointed the recruit “Fahd Hassan Abdul-Jabbar Abdo Zamit” as the commander of the brigade.
