Yemen beat Malaysia in AFC U-17 Championship with four goals

BANGKOK, June 15 (YPA) – Yemen’s national junior football team defeated the Malaysian national team by a significant margin on Thursday in the AFC U-17 Championship, scoring four clean goals.

With this result, the Yemeni junior team won the first three points in the tournament, and will play its next match on Sunday against the Laos national team at 1:00 p.m.

In the tournament, 16 teams are participating, distributed in four groups. Yemen is in a group that also includes Thailand, Malaysia, and Laos.
