New Zionist aggression targets Syrian Capital

DAMASCUS, June 14 (YPA)- A  Syrian soldier was injured and material damage was also caused by an Israeli aggression that targeted some sites in Damascus Countryside, while the army air defenses downed a number of missiles, state-run SANA news agency reported early Wednesday, citing a military source.

“At about 1:55 a.m. on Wednesday, the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some sites southwest of Damascus, and the army air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them,” a military source said in a statement to SANA.

The source indicated that the aggression resulted in “serious injury to a soldier and material damage.”
