PM chairs meeting of Supreme Committee for addressing flood damage

SANAA, June 11 (YPA) – The Higher Committee for Inventorying and Treating Damage Resulting from Rains and Torrents, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, reviewed on Sunday its tasks and priorities for the coming period.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister praised the efforts of the higher and technical committees, stressing the importance of concerted efforts by all ministries, authorities, and localities to reduce the damage of the floods.

Dr. Bin Habtoor urged the committee to give priority to sites that represent a direct threat to the lives of citizens and directed the concerned authorities to cooperate fully with the committee, provide for its urgent needs, and help it carry out its tasks as required.
