TAIZ, June 03 (YPA) – Armed clashes broke out on Saturday between armed groups affiliated with the Islah Party and loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the center of Taiz city, southwest Yemen.
According to local sources, the clashes erupted against the backdrop of disputes over the collection of levies from transport buses in the “Al-Nosiriya” area.
The clashes disturbed the peace of the people, terrified the market goers, and caused traffic to stop for hours, the sources added.
