UAE sends private plane to transport military commander to Abu Dhabi

HADRAMOUT, June 01 (YPA) –  Military and political actions have been escalating in Hadramout governorate, eastern Yemen, which indicating that the situation between Saudi-led coalition factions is heading irrevocably towards military resolution.

Political sources revealed that the UAE is heading to blow up the military situation in the districts of Wadi Hadramout through its factions located in the city of Mukalla, the center of the province.

The sources confirmed that the UAE transported the commander of the “Second Military Region”, Fayez Mansour Al-Tamimi, on a private plane to Abu Dhabi, likely to explode the military situation with the factions of the “First Military Region” affiliated with Islah party in the districts of the Hadramout Valley and desert in eastern Yemen.

The sources pointed out that Tamimi received an urgent invitation to visit Abu Dhabi to discuss military files in the second region in conjunction with the rise of voices demanding departure of the Islah brigades from the valley directorates and meetings held by the pro-Saudi Hadrami components in Riyadh with various ambassadors of the European Union countries.

In a television interview last Friday, Vice President of the UAE-backed  Southern Transitional Council (STC), Ahmed Saeed bin Breik confirmed the existence of an agreement to deploy the “Dera Al-Watan” Forces from the people of Hadramout in the valley districts instead of the “First Military Region” forces loyal to Islah.

While informed political sources in the province confirmed that Saudi Arabia is trying to appease the UAE by excluding Islah Party militants from Wadi Hadramout, the UAE-affiliated factions refused to provide any guarantees to Riyadh that Wadi Hadramout would not be invaded militarily.
