Official in Sanaa governorate denies existence of secret prisons

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) -An official source in the Sanaa governorate denied allegations of Saudi-led coalition forces and their factions about the existence of secret prisons in the governorate belonging to the governor and the director of his office.

The source confirmed, in a statement obtained by the Yemeni news agency (Saba), that Sana’a governorate, like other governorates under the leadership of the Supreme Political Council, is governed by law and order, and security services in the governorate play their role in ensuring security, public tranquility and combating crime in accordance with the constitution, laws and regulations in force.
The source called on everyone to investigate credibility and not be drawn into rumors and lies created by pro-coalition media.
