About $576,000 from Yemen oil revenues go to Saudi National Bank

SANAA, May 15 (YPA) – About 576 thousand dollars, from the revenues of the oil and gas production in Yemeni Marib province, are put into the National Bank of Saudi Arabia.

Abdul Qadir Al-Kharraz, a Yemeni researcher and consultant in the field of environmental impact assessment, revealed the estimated revenue volume of oil and gas revenues in Marib, which is under the control of the Islah Party loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, in eastern Yemen.

Al-Kharraz confirmed, in an estimated statistic on Twitter, that the revenue of oil and gas wealthy exceeded one billion dollars during the past year 2022.

He stated that the revenues from the sale of domestic gas amounted to more than 211 million dollars, in addition to more than 73 million dollars in the revenues of improved C5 gasoline.

Al-Kharraz added that the tax income on petroleum and diesel for the Islah Party’s authorities in Marib have exceeded 7 million dollars, with an estimated 7 billion and 786 million riyals. Yemeni.

“About 147 million dollars are being manipulated annually without knowing their fate between the areas under the control of the coalition, Marib Bank and exchange shops, in addition to the Sanaa government-held areas,” he explained.

The researcher pointed out that the proceeds of the infringing resources created by the Islah authorities from the so-called cleaning and improvement fees added to the electricity bills amounted to 1 billion, 344 million riyals, indicating that cancer patients in Marib affected by the oil companies are suffering neglect, without paying attention to them.

Where the oil revenues go without looking at cancer patients resulting from the Hunt and Safer oil companies? Al-Kharraz wondered.
