American economist reveals US scheme in Ukraine

WORLD, May 15 (YPA) – Economist Jeffrey D. Sachs exposed the US administration plots in Ukraine since 1992, and criticized Washington’s behavior, noting that grandiose delusions made it believe it ruled the world.

Jeffrey Sachs said in a video footage: “I’m going to reveal to you a secret, the United States lied because since 1992 there have been plans to expand NATO, including, Ukraine.”

“I recently spoke with a prominent historian who works with archival materials, who confirmed to me that Ukraine was already on the list in 1992,” he added.

Sachs accused the US of arrogance, saying: “The United States believes it rules the world and it is the only superpower and can do whatever it wants.”

Because of US’s values and behavior, he said, “it allows itself to do whatever it wants, whether it’s sabotage, toppling governments, waging wars under false pretexts, bombing Belgrade and Libya… Don’t wait for the truth. Because you won’t get it.”
