Saudi Arabia continues to deploy its factions in Aden

ADEN, May 15 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia continued to deploy its new factions in the main stronghold of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

Informed sources said that the Saudi-funded “Dera Al-Watan” (Shield of the Nation) faction were deployed in new vital locations in the city of Aden, including the areas surrounding the Saudi-led coalition camp in Al-Buraiqeh District and Aden International Airport.

On Saturday, units of the Saudi-backed forces surrounded the international port of Aden after the arrival of new military reinforcements to the city.

The commander of the “Homeland Shield” forces, Bashir Al-Madrabbi, acknowledged of besieging  the port of Aden by his forces, stressing that the step came on the directives by the head of “Presidential Leadership Council”, Rashad Al-Alimi.

The developments come within the framework of Saudi efforts to complete the exclusion of the Emirati faction from its homeland.
