Citizens killed in attack on Bayda mosque

BAYDA, May 12 (YPA) – At least 4 citizens were killed and 30 others injured in an initial toll on Friday as a result of an armed attack targeting a mosque in Bayda province, central Yemen.

Media sources reported that a gunman fired live bullets and then threw two hand grenades inside the mosque in Wadi Thah area of Al-Arsh district during Friday prayers.

The motives of the terrorist attack have not yet clear.
