SANAA, May 09 (YPA) – Sanaa’s government announced on Tuesday that the losses of the technical and vocational education sector as a result of the coalition raids have amounted to $1, 543, 983000, since the war on Yemen began in 2015.
In a news conference, Ghazi Ahmed Ali, the Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Sanaa, said that the cost of damage was distributed between almost 443 million and 983 thousand dollars for direct damages and about one billion and 100 million dollars for indirect damages to those institutions.
The minister revealed that 67 training institutions in various provinces were severely damaged as a result of being targeted by the coalition warplanes.
He pointed out that the coalition planes have directly targeted, since March 2015, the operating and ready technical and vocational education institutions that were under construction in various provinces.
