Husband kills his wife in Taiz

TAIZ, May 09 (YPA) – A husband killed his wife on Sunday evening, due to a family problem in Sama district in Taiz province in southern Yemen.

Local residents said that Walid Ali Malhaf killed his wife in the village of “Al-Sarm”, “Wadi Sarbit” in the Sama district, which is under the control of the recruits of the “35th Armored Brigade” affiliated with Saudi-led coalition.

Residents added that the perpetrator fired his gun at his wife’s head while she was at her father’s house following a dispute between the couple, killing her instantly.

They explained that the perpetrator fled to an unknown destination after committing the crime.

The Coalition-controlled areas in Taiz governorate have been witnessing unprecedented security chaos due to  conflict between armed factions loyal to the coalition.
