Pro-coalition minister attacks consultative meeting organized by STC in Aden

ADEN, May 06 (YPA) – A minister in the coalition-backed government revealed the political goals of holding the consultative meeting organized by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council on Thursday in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Saleh al-Jabwani, the resigned Minister of Transport from the pro-coalition government of Maeen Abdulmalik, addressing that the leaders of the STC, said on Twitter: “They want to extract the card of representing the south in the next settlement in the meeting.”

Al-Jabwani ridiculed the consultative meeting, saying: “The STC talks with its shadow. This is the most accurate description of dialogue.”

On Thursday, the head of the STC, Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, announced his sole representation of the southern cause, away from the political and social components and forces that announced during the past days their rejection of any meetings and consultations with the STC.
